Les (Californian) Ghost Dresses d’Ingrid Luche sont des espaces de représentation prenant la forme de « robes » où dialoguent images et signes prélevés lors d’un voyage en Californie (road trip entre Los Angeles, San Joaquin Valley et Silicon Valley) et où s’exposent souvenirs de lieux visités et paradoxes de certains contextes. La série s’appuie sur la circulation filtrée des images qui ponctuent notre espace informatif, au travers d’impressions photographiques sur textiles ou de transferts. Dans leur ensemble ou entre les robes s’échangent des liens de pacotille import-export, des écouteurs audio jetable, masques Air France ou porte-badges par exemple. Les robes sont présentées sur des cerceaux en osier suspendus. Les œuvres sont aériennes et mobiles dans l’espace. / Ingrid Luche's (Californian) Ghost Dresses are representation spaces in the form of “dresses” where images and signs taken during a trip to California (road trip between Los Angeles, San Joaquin Valley and Silicon Valley) interact and where memories of places visited and paradoxes of certain contexts are exposed. The series is based on the filtered circulation of images that punctuate our information space, through photographic prints on textiles or transfers. As a whole or between the dresses, import-export junk links, disposable audio headphones, Air France masks or badge holders, for example, are exchanged. The dresses are presented on hanging wicker hoops. The works are aerial and mobile in space.

Le Châle Schwarzee s’appuie sur un châle (années 20) photographié à The Autry Museum of the American West à Los Angeles dont l’image est croisée avec celle d’une peinture murale d'Arnold Schwarzenegger. Rehaussés de strass, de broderies et d’accessoires. / The Schwarzee Shawl is based on a shawl (1920s) photographed at The Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles, the image of which is intersected with that of an Arnold Schwarzenegger mural. Embellished with rhinestones, embroidery and accessories.

Cette robe est formée d’un drapé en jersey de coton sur lequel sont transférées quelques images de Nasim Najafi Aghdam, alias Green Nasim. Nasim Aghdam est la youtubeuse activiste végan qui s’est rendue armée au siège de YouTube le 3 avril 2018, faisant feu et blessant trois personnes avant de retourner l’arme contre elle pour se suicider. / This dress is formed by a cotton jersey drape onto which some images of Nasim Najafi Aghdam, aka Green Nasim are transferred. Nasim Aghdam is the vegan activist YouTuber who surrendered to YouTube headquarters on April 3, 2018, shooting and wounding three people before turning the gun on her to commit suicide.

Les Plastrons sont inspirés d’un costume de scène de Roy Rodgers repéré à The Autry Museum of the American West à Los Angeles, croisé avec un vêtement SM.
Le Plastron 01 et le Plastron 02 présentent des motifs étoile comme l’original, rehaussés de strass.
Le Plastron 03 présente un motif œil pailleté réalisé au pochoir (à la place du motif étoile) inspiré du symbole maçonnique. Rehaussé de strass. Il est associé à un châle. /
The Plastrons are inspired by a Roy Rodgers stage costume spotted at The Autry Museum of the American West in Los Angeles, crossed with an SM garment. The Plastron 01 and the Plastron 02 have star patterns like the original, enhanced with rhinestones. The Plastron 03 features a glittery eye pattern made with a stencil (instead of the star pattern) inspired by the Masonic symbol. Embellished with rhinestones. It is associated with a shawl.
